Trauma Centre Trauma-Sensitive Yoga in Sydney with Christine Davie

Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is an empirically validated, adjunctive treatment for complex trauma or chronic, treatment-resistant PTSD, developed at the Trauma Center at JRI in Brookline, Massachusetts, USA, by David Emerson, Founder and Director of The Center for Trauma and Embodiment at JRI.

Classes are conducted in Sydney and can be offered as:

  • Individual one-on-one sessions or small private group sessions (15 to 60 minutes)

  • TCTSY group classes (for small groups)

  • Community class programs in your professional setting (i.e sexual assault centres, refuges, mental health settings, hospitals, etc.)

  • Information and workshop sessions

  • A trauma informed community class is offered weekly in Glebe

No prior yoga experience is necessary and sessions are accessible to everybody.

"Yoga is a way of life. It changes you and therefore changes the way you relate to other people and influences your environment."
